| Situated some 34 kilometres above Dehradun, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, Mussoorie laid claim to the title "Queen of the Hills". The adjoining town of Landour, which included a military cantonment, was considered part of 'greater Mussoorie', as were the townships of Barlowganj and Jharipani. |
